1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all purchases made on www.skintellectual-shop.de. Only consumers (not business customers) are eligible to place orders. Orders from minors are not permitted.

2. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather a non-binding invitation to place an order. By clicking the “Buy Now” button, you submit a binding order. Confirmation of receipt of your order will be sent by email. The purchase contract is only concluded once Skintellectual Solutions confirms your order via email. The maximum order value is €1,000.

3. Prices and Shipping Costs

All prices include statutory VAT. In addition, we charge shipping costs (e.g., €4.70 within Germany). Shipping costs are clearly displayed during the ordering process. Standard shipping is free for orders over €100.

4. Delivery

Delivery is made to the address you provide. Unless otherwise specified, delivery time is 3–7 business days. If a product is unavailable, we will inform you immediately. Only complete orders will be shipped—no partial deliveries. Delivery is made exclusively by shipping; self-collection is not possible.

5. Payment

Available Payment Methods

We offer the following payment options:

  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex): Your credit card will be charged immediately upon completing the order. Payment processing is securely handled via Stripe, a certified payment service provider. Your payment data is not stored on our servers.
  • PayPal: You pay the invoice amount via the online provider PayPal. To use this method, you must be registered with PayPal, log in with your credentials, and confirm the payment instruction to us. Additional information is provided during the order process. PayPal’s terms of use apply:

  • Klarna (Sofortüberweisung): In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer the following payment method:
  • Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer using your bank’s PIN/TAN system, now branded as “Klarna Sofort”)

  • SEPA Direct Debit (via Stripe): When selecting SEPA Direct Debit, you authorize us to debit your account via a SEPA mandate. The debit will be made by Stripe, typically 1–2 business days after the goods are shipped. You will be notified at least one day in advance about the amount and the debit date (pre-notification). Please ensure sufficient funds are available. You will be responsible for any fees incurred due to insufficient funds or incorrect account details.
  • SEPA Instant Credit Transfer: When selecting SEPA Instant Credit Transfer, you can transfer the invoice amount to us in real time via your online banking. This requires that your bank supports SEPA Instant Payments. The payment is usually processed within a few seconds and credited to the recipient. Order processing begins once payment has been received.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (via Stripe): These payment methods are also processed via Stripe and are only available on supported devices and browsers. Payment is fast and secure via your device’s wallet function.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed, the purchase price is due immediately.

  • For payment via credit card, SEPA direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal, the charge is made immediately upon completing the order.
  • For purchases on account via Klarna, payment is due within 14 days from the invoice date unless a different term is agreed.
  • For Klarna installment purchases, the conditions agreed individually with Klarna apply.
  • Please note: Klarna may perform a credit check. Your personal data may be transmitted to Klarna for this purpose. For more details, refer to Klarna’s privacy policy.

Payment Default

If you are in default of payment, we are entitled to charge statutory interest in accordance with § 288 of the German Civil Code (BGB). In the event that a debt collection agency or legal dunning process is initiated, we reserve the right to claim additional costs.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. You can find detailed withdrawal instructions HERE. The right of withdrawal is excluded for sealed cosmetic products if the seal has been removed after delivery (§ 312g para. 2 no. 3 BGB).

7. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of Skintellectual Solutions until full payment has been made.

8. Warranty

Statutory warranty rights apply. For cosmetic products, please observe our instructions regarding application, storage, and shelf life.

9. Liability

  • The customer’s claims for damages are excluded. This does not apply to claims for damages arising from injury to life, body, or health, or from the breach of essential contractual obligations, as well as liability for other damages caused by willful or grossly negligent conduct by us, our legal representatives, or vicarious agents. Essential contractual obligations are those which make proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which the customer may regularly rely.
  • In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations due to simple negligence, we are only liable for the foreseeable, contract-typical damage—unless the claim concerns injury to life, body, or health.
  • The limitations stated in paragraphs (1) and (2) also apply in favor of our legal representatives and vicarious agents if claims are asserted directly against them.
  • The provisions of the Product Liability Act remain unaffected.
  • All packaging and user instructions must be followed. We assume no liability for use or handling that deviates from these instructions.

11. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution

We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
